Job summary

Cognizant seeks an AI Architect to lead the design, development, and scaling of production-grade autonomous multi-agent AI systems. You will guide enterprise AI initiatives, collaborating across engineering, product, and healthcare teams to deliver intelligent agents supporting the full SDLC.

You will work remotely within the United States (preference for near Los Angeles), with Pacific Time hours, applying strong Java/Spring Boot, React/TypeScript expertise and hands-on Claude/AI tooling to

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• At least one year designing and building production-grade LLM or multi-agent solutions.
• Strong full-stack experience: Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, microservices, REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Claude, Claude Code, LangGraph, LangChain, and Azure.
• Experience securing and scaling AI-powered workflows and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable multi-agent AI systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, product, and healthcare teams.
• Develop scalable enterprise microservices and REST APIs using Java/Spring Boot.
• Integrate backend services and React apps with Claude APIs for AI features.
• Lead testing, code reviews, and CI/CD operations.
• Ensure secure coding, data privacy, and scalable engineering standards.
