Job summary

Cognizant seeks an AI Architect to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of production-grade autonomous multi-agent AI systems, collaborating with engineering, DevOps, product, and healthcare teams.

You will design scalable microservices with Java/Spring Boot, React UI, and Claude integrations, drive CI/CD, testing, and secure practices across the lifecycle of the application.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, full-stack development, DevOps, or related engineering disciplines.
• At least 1 year designing and building production-grade LLM, Agentic AI, or multi-agent solutions.
• Strong full-stack experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks and technologies such as Claude, Claude Code, LangGraph, LangChain, and Azure.
• Experience integrating enterprise apps with LLM APIs and secure AI-powered workflows.
• Understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps, security, privacy, and production architecture.
• Ability to translate enterprise objectives into scalable AI architecture roadmaps.
• Availability to collaborate during Pacific Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable multi-agent AI systems.
• Design responsive frontends with React/TypeScript.
• Develop enterprise microservices and REST APIs in Java/Spring Boot.
• Integrate backend services with Claude APIs for AI-powered features.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate prototyping and refactoring.
• Optimize data flow across React, Java, and cloud endpoints.
• Establish automated testing and secure coding standards.
