Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager, Sales to support growth across South Dakota. You will expand the retail partner network, drive sales of our full product portfolio, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers.

You will collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and Customer Service to meet customer needs, develop annual territory plans, and ensure market opportunities are captured while staying compliant with EPA and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience in agriculture.
• Proven success in a business-to-business sales environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage territory plans, sales forecasts, and budgets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

Responsabilités

• Drive territory growth by developing relationships with new retail partners and expanding existing accounts to achieve sales and profit objectives.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, product presentations, negotiations, closing sales, and account management.
• Establish yourself as a trusted consultant by maintaining expert product knowledge and providing solutions that address customer challenges.
• Develop and execute annual territory business plans, including sales forecasts, budget management, and growth strategies.
• Utilize lead generation programs, research trials, and demonstration opportunities to build market awareness and customer engagement.
• Organize and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities to achieve territory goals.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing, Customer Service, R&D, and other internal teams to share market intelligence and support customer success.
• Monitor and stay current on EPA and state regulatory requirements relevant to the territory.
• Represent Verdesian professionally in the marketplace and cultivate relationships that strengthen the company's reputation.
