Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer to act as a servant leader for the Agile Release Train within its SDLC. You will facilitate ART execution, coordinate planning across teams, and manage risks to help deliver value predictably.

You will partner with Product Management, System Architects, Scrum Masters, and engineers to ensure the ART runs as one coordinated delivery system and continuously improves delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical program management or scaled Agile delivery.
• 2+ years in an ART-level environment preferred.
• SAFe/Agile certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate PI Planning readiness, PI Planning, ART Sync and related ceremonies.
• Coordinate planning and execution across ART teams; align to a plausible PI plan.
• Identify and escalate ART-level risks, impediments and dependencies.
• Own ART-level metrics and reporting: flow, velocity, predictability, delivery health.
• Coordinate ART release readiness and release-on-demand activities.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and I&A actions.
