Job summary

Prime Intellect AI is pioneering open frontier AI infrastructure and applied RL research. You will work on reinforcement learning for agents that reason over long horizons, use tools, coordinate with other agents, and improve from experience across multiple domains.

As an Applied Research role, you will develop scalable methods, reusable environments, and evaluation frameworks while collaborating with customers and open-source users to push the boundaries of frontier AI.

Qualifications

• Hands-on RL training and scalable ML systems experience.
• Experience with agent environments, evaluation, or related research.
• Strong Python and the ability to build reusable artifacts.

Responsibilities

• RL and post-training methods for tool-using, multi-agent, memory-augmented, and long-horizon systems.
• Reusable environments, harnesses, rewards, and evaluations.
• Experiments that connect algorithm choices to training and inference behavior.
• Open-source systems and papers built from problems surfaced by application researchers and external users.
