Job summary

Prime Intellect is building the open frontier AI stack and autonomous agent systems. We are seeking researchers who will create environments, evaluations, and training methods for long-horizon embodied tasks with real robotics partners.

You will train and evaluate agents using reinforcement learning, world modeling, and multimodal perception while ensuring safety and hardware compliance. This role is externally facing and collaborative.

Qualifications

• Experience in robotics, embodied AI, RL, imitation learning, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience building model-training loops for agents.
• Strong experimental judgment with baselines, failure attribution, and direction shifts.
• Strong Python skills to build runnable artifacts for researchers and engineers.
• Comfort owning ambiguous problems and keeping partners updated.

Responsibilities

• Turn workflows into tasks, environments, evaluations, and reward signals.
• Run post-training experiments with real baselines and deploy what works.
• Collaborate with customers, users, or research partners while pursuing a research agenda.
• Develop long-horizon embodied agents capable of perception, planning, and recovery.
