Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Member of Technical Staff (MTS) – Agentic AI Architect, focused on Smart Manufacturing AI Pathfinding & Innovation. You will architect autonomous AI Agents, power data pipelines, and push agent performance to production-grade levels.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to deploy scalable agent solutions that optimize manufacturing processes and systems, with a strong emphasis on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience optimizing inference engines (vLLM, TensorRT-LLM) for autonomous AI Agent workloads.
• Proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, function calling, and CoT reasoning.
• Experience Kubernetes for deploying and scaling AI Agent workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop autonomous AI Agents capable of multi-step reasoning, planning, and tool execution to automate complex workflows.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for deploying AI Agents to Kubernetes and containerized cloud environments.
• Mentor engineers on agentic system design paradigms and optimization techniques.
