Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Member of Technical Staff - Agentic AI Architect for Smart Manufacturing AI Pathfinding & Innovation.

You will architect autonomous AI agents and data pipelines powering manufacturing workflows, deploying on Kubernetes and cloud environments. Collaboration with data scientists and engineers is essential to transform data into actionable insights that improve production efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience optimizing inference engines for autonomous AI Agent workloads.
Proficiency with LLMs, prompt engineering, function calling, and CoT reasoning.
Experience designing RAG pipelines with embeddings and vector search.
Experience building end-to-end systems that deploy autonomous AI Agents.
Familiarity with MCP tools, plugins, and the A2A protocol.
Strong programming skills and cloud environment experience.
8+ years in data/ML pipelines or production agentic systems.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop autonomous AI Agents capable of multi-step reasoning and tool execution.
Implement agent frameworks to orchestrate LLM interactions with internal APIs and databases.
Create evaluation harnesses to benchmark agent accuracy and reliability.
Profile agent workloads to optimize compute and latency using observability tools.
Implement multi-agent systems with A2A and MCP protocols.
Build CI/CD pipelines to deploy AI Agents to Kubernetes and cloud containers.
Design security controls for autonomous AI Agents and mitigate risks.
