Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to lead and contribute to a remote US-based team. You will design, implement, and orchestrate production-grade AI agents using Bedrock, Strands, and related AWS services to meet client requirements.

You will drive architecture, enforce responsible AI practices, and collaborate with QA/UAT teams to ensure quality and security across deployments. Knowledge of governance and cost-efficient scaling is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Conversational AI and Agentic AI platforms experience.
• Hands-on development with AWS Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore.
• Experience with LLM orchestration, tool integrations and multi-agent workflows.
• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, NLU concepts, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead development team across onshore and offshore.
• Hands-on development, design and architecture based on client requirements.
• Support QA and UAT teams throughout projects.
