Job summary

RemoteJobsOne is seeking a highly skilled Aerodynamics Expert for a fully remote, contractor role. You will tackle CFD and aerodynamic analyses, translating physical requirements into solver-ready simulations, and developing Python-based automation for preprocessing, running simulations, and validation.

The position is global, remote, with flexible hours (~15 hrs/week). Candidates should have an advanced degree or relevant aero experience and be proficient with Python and CLI-enabled tools like

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Aero/Mech Eng or BS with 1–2 years aero-focused experience
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and applied aerodynamics
• Experience formulating and executing CFD or aerodynamic analyses
• Proficiency with Python
• CLI/scriptable/programmable engineering tools

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems.
• Translate physical requirements into computational models and solver-ready cases.
• Create or modify geometries, domains, and meshes.
• Define initial/boundary conditions and solver settings.
• Run CFD and aerodynamic analyses via command-line tools.
• Automate preprocessing, simulations, parameter sweeps, postprocessing, and validation with Python.
