Job summary

Thorne, Inc. is seeking an AEO Specialist/Lead (Contract) to own the execution layer of AI/Answer Engine Optimization. This role operates remotely with flexible 25–40 hours per week and ramps up during major roadmap pushes.

You will translate AI visibility data into actionable insights and drive cross-functional initiatives across content, site/product, PR and affiliates. Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, you will collaborate with an SEO agency and internal teams to shape strategy,

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in a technical or analytical marketing role (SEO, growth, content ops, or similar) or proven AI-native track record.
• Hands-on SEO experience and understanding of how SEO and AEO/GEO overlap/diverge.
• Comfort with AI-visibility analytics platforms (Profound or similar) and turning data into action.
• Demonstrated project management/quarterback experience coordinating content, product, dev, PR, and agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Daily AI visibility analysis and insights; monitor rankings, sentiment, and share of voice.
• Own the AEO/AI-visibility roadmap and partner with agency on strategy and prioritization.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across content, site/ecommerce, and PR/affiliate channels; track backlog.
• Apply AI-native mindset to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflows.
