Job summary

Optum, a part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks an AEM full stack engineer to lead front-end focused digital engineering for enterprise applications. You will build modern experiences with AEM Cloud Service, React, GraphQL, and headless architecture, while applying AI-powered workflows to accelerate delivery and improve performance across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web application development experience.
• 3+ years front-end development with React, TypeScript, JS, HTML5, CSS3.
• 2+ years AEM development with AEM 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service.
• 2+ years Java development in AEM frameworks (OSGi, Sling Models, Servlets, REST APIs, Maven).
• 1+ years of experience with AEM Headless, GraphQL APIs, and API-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern, responsive, accessible front-end web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale digital experiences using AEM as a Cloud Service, Headless CMS, Content/Experience Fragments, and GraphQL APIs.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions and leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
• Integrate front-end apps with backend Java/OSGi services, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.
• Ensure WCAG accessibility, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
• Evaluate AI trends to inform front-end architecture and innovation.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, QA, and DevOps in Agile environment.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and CI/CD deployment automation.
