Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an Advisor Application Developer to lead analysis, design, development, integration and support for healthcare transaction platforms, including Medicaid pharmacy systems.

You will drive NCPDP F6 processing solutions, develop APIs and data interfaces, review code, and collaborate with architects, QA, and client stakeholders in an Agile environment. Fully remote within the continental United States; core hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application development and systems analysis.
• Preferred Medicaid, Healthcare Payer and EDI/NCPDP expertise.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with NCPDP transactions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level analysis, design, development, integration, and support for healthcare platforms.
• Lead design, testing, and deployment of NCPDP F6 processing solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable application designs.
• Develop and maintain APIs, interfaces, batch jobs, and data integrations.
• Perform code reviews and adhere to development standards.
• Support defect resolution, root-cause analysis, and incident management.
• Collaborate with architects, BAs, QA, and client stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide technical estimates.
• Create technical docs and knowledge-transfer materials.
