Autoliv Romania in Brasov is seeking an Advanced Technical Project Manager to lead electronics and mechatronics development within the Product Development area. You will drive multidisciplinary efforts across hardware, software, and system engineering for safety-critical automotive applications.

The role emphasizes requirements engineering, system architecture, and collaboration with suppliers, with opportunities to influence projects from early quotation through serial development.

Qualifications

• Education in Electronics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Background in software, hardware, or system engineering with product design experience (ECU).
• Knowledge of systems engineering, requirements engineering, and project management.
• Familiarity with embedded development (V-cycle) and ISO 26262.

Responsibilities

• Serve as functional lead from quotation to concept and serial development.
• Interface with customers to align requirements with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Manage requirements engineering and system architecture definitions.
• Ensure design artifacts and requirements are versioned in tools (e.g., DOORS, PTC).
• Drive technical efforts in new customer projects during quote phase.
