Job summary

EITACIES Inc. is seeking a Public Health Data Governance Analyst / Data Analyst Advanced for a remote 12+ month engagement.

You will own data governance and metadata management within the Public Health Division, collaborating with data stewards, owners, and IT to curate and document data assets in Collibra. Responsibilities include maintaining data catalogs and glossaries, ensuring data quality and lineage, and developing SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Analytics, or related field.
• Knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, metadata management, data catalogs, business glossaries, and data quality practices.
• Hands-on experience with Collibra strongly preferred, including training users and maintaining governance content.
• Exposure to data catalog tools like Collibra or similar is a plus.
• Experience building governance documentation and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Data Catalog and Metadata Management, Data Stewardship, Data Governance Support.
• Maintain data catalog, business glossary, data definitions, and governance documentation.
• Document data ownership, stewardship, classifications, rules, quality requirements, and lineage.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve metadata and documentation.
• Prepare materials and track follow-up actions for governance workgroups.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data definitions and business rules.
