Job summary

Mbi Llc is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to strengthen the organization’s data governance framework. You will develop data dictionaries, standardize data practices, and manage metadata to enable reliable data-use for decision making.

The role involves collaborating with epidemiologists, informaticists, data stewards, program leads, and IT staff to document and harmonize data elements, maintain dictionaries and metadata repositories, and support data transparency across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information science, CS, database management, public health, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
• Strong command of SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data dictionaries with clear definitions and rules.
• Design and manage metadata repositories including data lineage and ownership.
• Build dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to monitor data quality and trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enforce data governance policies and standards.
