Job summary

CTG is seeking a Business Data Consultant for a 12-month remote role based in the United States. You will implement data governance, manage data quality, and collaborate with business and tech teams on analytics, reporting, and risk management to drive informed decisions.

You will lead cross-functional data initiatives, monitor KPIs/KRIs, and provide training on BI and analytics tools while supporting regulatory and internal control requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Data Governance, Data Management, SQL, and Amperity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentations, data visualization, and financial models.

Responsibilities

• Implement data management and data governance practices within assigned business units.
• Partner with business and technology teams on data quality, metadata, critical data elements, reporting, analytics, and issue management.
• Monitor data governance compliance, data quality, KPIs/KRIs, and data risk.
• Facilitate data management working groups and cross-functional initiatives.
• Identify and remediate data issues and elevate risks when appropriate.
• Analyze large data sets to generate business insights and support business decisions.
• Provide training and guidance on data management, business intelligence, and analytics tools.
• Support enterprise data management, regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements.
