Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. seeks a QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer for the Charlotte, NC area. The role focuses on on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment, with a strong emphasis on remote work capabilities.

You will provide technical presentations, lead process improvements, and serve as an escalation point for field service teams. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field plus extensive post-baccalaureate experience is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field; 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience or 10 years in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience must include five years involving troubleshooting and maintenance of sheet manufacturing scanners.
Experience must include three years involving electrical schematics, network diagrams, and P&IDs; VMware and Cisco networking; system and application configuration.

Responsibilities

Provide technical presentations to customers, peers and competitors.
Promote revision of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists.
Drive continuous improvement in field services and product development processes.
Coordinate cross-functional groups to resolve delivery and installation challenges.
Act as escalation point for Field Service Specialists and Service Engineers.
