Job summary

Acxiom is seeking a remote-based Data Acquisition Specialist to support data provider onboarding, licensing, and governance initiatives. You will coordinate with the Data Ingestion team to ensure smooth intake, maintain comprehensive documentation, and track the lifecycle of data licenses and agreements.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with APIs, SFTP, and cloud storage.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in data acquisition, vendor management, data governance, or product support roles within a data-driven organization.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with data products, licensing models, and identity/data integration solutions.
• Comfort navigating data structures, APIs, and file delivery methods (SFTP, cloud storage, direct feeds).
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex licensing agreements, contract terms, and usage metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate data availability, licensing constraints, and business impacts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prerequisites for new data providers with the Data Ingestion team.
• Maintain data feed documentation, including schema mappings and update schedules.
• Troubleshoot delivery failures or feed interruptions with data ingestion teams.
• Track lifecycle of NDAs, Data License Agreements, and related amendments.
• Audit contractual parameters in central tracking systems: permitted use cases, retention, renewal dates, and termination conditions.
• Log and verify DPIAs, security questionnaires, and Provider Data Sheets before feed activation.
• Maintain Data Acquisition Salesforce with provider status, feed types, and renewal cadences.
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, data timeliness, and quality standards.
• Reconcile vendor usage, data volumes, and invoices with procurement and finance.
