Job summary

InGenius Prep is seeking thoughtful mentors to work remotely with students navigating U.S. college and graduate admissions. This role emphasizes long-term development, strategic guidance, and authentic mentorship beyond application reviews.

You’ll build 1-on-1 relationships, guide application strategy, help strengthen profiles, edit essays, brainstorm experiences, and meet families remotely. Flexible, part-time or potential full-time paths welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university.
• Experience in education, admissions, tutoring or consulting is valued.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful 1-on-1 relationships with students over months or years.
• Guide students through college and graduate application strategy.
• Help students strengthen extracurricular, academic, and personal profiles.
• Edit essays and provide thoughtful feedback to encourage authentic voice.
• Brainstorm experiences aligned with students' goals.
• Meet remotely with students and families.
• Collaborate with mentors and team members to support student success.
• Manage a flexible caseload based on availability and interests.
