American Public University System, Inc. is seeking an Executive Admissions Representative for a fully remote role to support online enrollment across AMU/APU programs in the United States.

You will engage prospective students via phone and email, conduct consultative conversations, guide them through documents, transfer credits, degree plans, and payment options, and collaborate with Financial Aid, Advising, and the Registrar to ensure smooth matriculation.

Qualifications

• 5 years of online admissions experience working with adult students in a sales oriented/consultative role.
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to conduct consultative conversations.
• Experience with enrolling students and guiding them through documentation and enrollment steps.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and coordinating with multiple departments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Salesforce knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for prospective students considering enrollment.
• Engage prospective students via phone and email to drive enrollment.
• Demonstrate sensitivity and relate to diverse backgrounds.
• Conduct consultative conversations to assess needs and showcase APUS education benefits.
• Present tailored solutions and facilitate enrollment steps when applicable.
• Meet and exceed enrollment targets as directed by leadership.
• Coordinate with departments for document collection, funding, transfer credits, and degree solutions.
• Provide timely follow-ups using phone and electronic channels.
• Protect student privacy under FERPA compliance.
• Evaluate academic records for admission to AMU/APU.
• Update prospective student information in CRM and other systems.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid, Advising, Registrar, and other departments.
