Job summary

Alliant University is seeking an Admissions Counselor to recruit for online degree programs and manage admissions processes. The role handles inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, interviews, and collaboration with multiple campus partners.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in admissions or related customer service, sales, or marketing. Benefits include comprehensive plans. Remote work is available with standard hours and some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in a college/university admissions department and/or two or more years of customer service, sales or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with prospective and continuing students, administration, faculty, staff, and external districts and organizations.
• Provide admissions counseling to prospective students.
• Manage the admissions applications process, and coordinate interviews between appropriate parties.
• Provide counseling and overall customer service to prospective students at all stages via telephone, email, live chat and campus visits.
• Respond to new inquiries promptly and adhere to communication strategy for all prospective students.
• Communicate program offerings across degree programs to prospective students.
• Maintain ongoing communication with applicants and track communications using Salesforce and CNS as applicable.
• Attend recruitment fairs and conventions; coordinate information at events.
