Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• One (1) year of related experience.
• Additional experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.
• Associate's degree and three (3) years of related experience.
• Ability to travel and work irregular hours including weekends.
• Strong public speaking and presentation, customer service, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Intermediate skills with personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize events.
• Ability to learn TAMU-CC admissions, academic offerings, services, and student opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Advise Dallas area students on admission requirements, enrollment information, academic offerings, and opportunities at TAMU-CC.
• Build relationships with Dallas-based high school counselors, community college reps, and organizations.
• Visit Dallas schools to offer presentations and host admissions events.
• Attend college fairs and recruitment events.
• Recruit undergraduates during TACRAO season in Dallas and across the state.
• Develop and implement recruitment programs to attract prospective students and yield admitted students.
• Travel to campus for events, trainings, and programs.
• Reconcile monthly travel statements and billings.
• Communicate with students, counselors, and parents about application statuses.
• Send monthly reports to high school partners.
• Use text, calls, emails, and mail to connect with stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly recruitment reports for the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment.
• Coordinate and host recruitment events and counselor updates in the region.
• Coordinate with alumni to assist recruitment and schedule TACRAO fairs.
