Job summary

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi seeks an Admissions Counselor II - Dallas to recruit and advise prospective undergraduates from the Dallas region. The role manages school visits, events, and communications to raise enrollment and awareness of TAMU-CC programs.

The position is remote but requires residence in the Dallas region, with travel to campus and local events as needed. A Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience are preferred, with opportunities to collaborate with admissions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; one year of related experience.
• Willingness to travel and work irregular hours including weekends.
• Strong public speaking and presentation, customer service, and communication skills.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Advise Dallas area students on admission requirements and enrollment information.
• Build relationships with Dallas-based high schools and community partners.
• Visit Dallas schools to host admissions events and attend college fairs.
• Recruit undergraduate students during TACRAO recruiting season in Dallas and other regions.
• Develop recruitment programs and coordinate campus visits and events.
• Travel to campus for preview events and trainings; reconcile travel statements.
