Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. One (1) year of related experience.
• Associate's degree and three (3) years of related experience.
• Ability to travel and work irregular hours including weekends.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn TAMU-CC admissions, academic offerings, services, and student opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Advise Houston area students on admission requirements, enrollment information, academic offerings, and opportunities at TAMU-CC.
• Build relationships with Houston-based high school counselors, community college reps, and community organizations.
• Visit Houston schools to offer presentations and host admissions events.
• Attend college fairs, signing days, and other requests for TAMU-CC participation.
• Recruit undergraduate students during TACRAO recruiting season in Houston and other regions.
• Travel to campus for campus preview events, recruitment programs, trainings, etc.
• Reconcile monthly travel statements and billings.
