Groups Recover Together is seeking an Admissions Counselor for Florida with remote work options. You will lead clinical intake, assess eligibility, and coordinate care with the treatment team, using our EMR for documentation.

The role emphasizes compassionate, high-quality counseling and adherence to the Groups Recovery System. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMHC) with reciprocity across states, and at least two years of group therapy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Required full licensure: LCSW, LPC, LMHC with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
• Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting
• High comfort level with technology, including EMR, email, software and mobile apps

Responsibilities

• Lead the treatment team and coordinate member treatment decisions
• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate program suitability
• Complete daily clinical assessments and provide individual support as needed
• Document progress using the EMR, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Ensure compliance with admission requirements and related documentation
• Participate in trainings to maintain licensure
• Coordinate care with Care Navigators and providers
• Represent the treatment team in discussions of difficult cases
