Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• 1 year of supervised experience in substance use disorder counseling.
• 1-3 years of experience working with culturally diverse populations in behavioral healthcare or substance abuse settings.
• Licenses: MHC, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, Ph.D. in Psychology.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ mental and physical health, substance use, and readiness for treatment.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment goals and plans.
• Provide education and counseling to clients and their families.
• Help clients build coping strategies and develop healthy behaviors.
• Identify and address behaviors that may interfere with recovery.
• Refer clients to appropriate external services (e.g., support groups, job placement).
• Educate families on addiction and recovery strategies.
• Participate in community outreach when needed.
• Work closely with the Care Coordination and Clinical teams.
• Perform other clinical duties as assigned.
