Placements24 is seeking a Rehabilitation Support Officer for a fully remote role, supporting individuals in recovery from substance use. You will provide remote counselling, help develop recovery plans, monitor progress, and connect clients with resources while maintaining confidential digital records.

Ideal candidates have qualifications in counselling, social work, or psychology, with experience in addiction support, strong empathy, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Certification in addiction counselling is a plus.
• Experience with substance abuse recovery support and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support and counselling to clients in recovery.
• Develop and implement individualized recovery plans with clients.
• Monitor progress and relapse triggers, ensuring adherence to plans.
• Connect clients with community resources, groups, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain confidential client records using secure digital platforms.
• Educate clients on relapse prevention strategies and coping skills.
• Conduct virtual check-ins and therapy sessions via video/phone.
• Collaborate with a remote multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Stay informed on best practices in addiction treatment.
