Placements24 is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients remotely and in remote-capable settings. You will work under licensed therapists to assist individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, utilizing telehealth tools to extend care.

Responsibilities include crisis support, recovery planning, and psychoeducational workshops, with a focus on compassionate, client-centered care for diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in mental health, addiction treatment, or related field.
• Strong communication and active listening skills; ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct client care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Develop and implement recovery plans and coping strategies.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops.
• Monitor progress and treatment engagement; document interactions and adherence.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
• Educate clients and families about mental health and substance use disorders.
• Coordinate care with other service providers; maintain safe/therapeutic environment.
• Work with remote or in-person clients via telehealth services.
