Job summary

CNO Financial Group invites an Actuarial Intern to work with our experienced Actuaries across Life, Health and Annuity spaces. This paid internship supports students pursuing actuarial degrees with May 17–Aug 6, 2027 dates and a US-based, possibly remote, work arrangement.

Responsibilities include simplifying valuation calculations, using actuarial software, and delivering clear documentation of technical work while developing pricing projections. Networking and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in actuarial science or mathematics.
• At least one actuarial exam passed towards SOA.
• Willingness to work 40 hours/week for 10-12 weeks during summer.
• Candidate located in Central or Eastern US time zone preferred or able to work Central or Eastern time zone hours.

Responsibilities

• Simplifying and standardizing valuation calculations.
• Work with actuarial software packages.
• Providing clear documentation and communication of technical work.
• Improve actuarial projections for pricing and valuation.
