Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, or Statistics.
• Progress toward SOA/ASSA exams; several exams preferred.
• 3–5 years of life insurance actuarial experience.
• Proficiency in Prophet, Axis, ALIS and Python or R.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and financial projections.
• Perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and assumption setting using actuarial software and programming languages.
• Assist in valuation of liabilities and capital requirements for life insurance business.
• Support development and pricing of new life insurance products.
• Prepare actuarial reports and presentations for management, regulators, and auditors.
• Conduct experience studies to inform actuarial assumptions.
• Ensure compliance with actuarial standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with finance, product development, and risk management.
