Job summary

NV5 is seeking an Acoustical Consultant for its architectural acoustics practice. You will lead primary acoustical projects on national and regional assignments, including classrooms, healthcare facilities, courthouses, theatres, and studios, delivering room acoustics, isolation, and environmental solutions.

You will create drawings and reports, run acoustic models, perform on-site testing, and coordinate with clients and the project team to ensure timely, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in acoustics or related field required; Master's preferred.
• Experience in architectural acoustics and a strong portfolio of projects.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead primary acoustical projects on national and regional assignments.
• Develop room acoustics, sound isolation, and environmental acoustics solutions.
• Create drawings and reports and use acoustic modeling software.
• Perform on-site acoustics testing and coordinate with clients and project team.
