Job summary

Iron Bow Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Corporate Accounting team in Herndon, VA. You will manage invoices, payments, and vendor accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

This remote role requires two days per month in the Herndon office; candidates must reside in the DMV area. Ideal applicants have 3+ years in AP, experience with Oracle, and strong Excel skills, plus knowledge of government contract regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes including three-way match and vendor reconciliations.
• Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and process supplier invoices (PO, non-PO, three-way match).
• Resolve invoice, pricing, payment, and account discrepancies by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
• Process weekly payment runs (ACH and checks) with proper documentation and controls.
• Reconcile supplier statements and research outstanding invoices and credits.
• Respond to inquiries regarding invoice status, terms, and reimbursements.
• Process employee expense reports per company policy and ensure compliance.
