Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team for a short term contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes, proficiency in using Workday, and a passion for supporting the financial operations of a university system. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and financial records, contributing to the overall financial health of the university.

Responsibilities

• Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
• Process expense reports from employees Identify discrepancies and escalate in appropriate manner
• Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
• Maintain 1099s and generate report at year end

Compensation:

$20/hr to $24/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
