Job summary

Skywaves Rise is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Accounts Payables Analyst for a remote role with milestone travel to Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in AP, especially with Oracle Cloud ERP, and will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, payment processes, and compliance with financial standards. This position also requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to resolving financial discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable including 4+ on Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Strong knowledge in Oracle Fusion Payables module and vendor management.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP processes including payment processing and vendor communication.
• Conduct invoice matching and resolve discrepancies related to AP.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and internal financial controls.

Job Title: Oracle Cloud Accounts Payables (AP) Analyst

Location: Remote with milestone travel to Austin, TX

Job Type: C2C

Experience Required: 8+ years in AP, on Oracle Cloud (Fusion ERP)

Required Skills & Experience:

• 9+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 4+ years on Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion AP)
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Payables module, workflows, and setups
• Experience in vendor management, including TIN validation and banking data
• Proficient in invoice matching (2-way/3-way), PO matching, and manual invoice entry
• Knowledge of payment processing, ACH/Wire checks, and approval hierarchies
• Good understanding of expense management modules and audit policies
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve AP discrepancies independently
• Hands-on experience with Oracle BI Publisher / OTBI reports a plus
• Understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors and internal finance teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Oracle Cloud Financials Certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle
• Experience with shared services/AP automation tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Tipalti)
