A leading company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a fully remote position. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in government contract accounting, invoice processing, and financial analysis. The role involves maintaining financial records for government and commercial projects and includes managing two direct reports. We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This position involves developing and maintaining the work breakdown structure for projects within the accounting system to ensure financial activities of contract performance are recorded and reportable in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance and contract terms. The individual will assist in the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis for government and commercial contract projects, and will also be involved in preparing forecasts and financial trend analysis. This role offers exposure to complex tasks and the opportunity to work independently.
This role is fully remote, but candidates must be local to the Northern Virginia (NOVA) area. The position is a new role within the company and includes managing two direct reports. The work environment is laid-back, promoting a great company culture.
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.
