Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with government contracting, payroll, and month-end closeout.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Knowledge of GAAP and FAR requirements.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close schedule and A/P/A/R processing.
• Support payroll processing and related state reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and SOPs.
• Assist with audit documentation and internal controls.
