Job summary

Aduro Advisors is seeking bright Accounting Managers to join our client-service team supporting venture capital and private equity clients. You will contribute to accounting, reporting, capital calls, investor relations, and ensure accurate financial statements.

This is a remote role across the US with a focus on client service, collaboration, and ongoing development; the position offers growth opportunities and eligibility for the Aduro Bonus Program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, alternative asset industry, or fund administration.
• External auditor experience; CPA or MBA is a plus.
• Experience supporting multiple clients in a client-facing role.
• Comfort with accounting systems such as Xero and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP in Xero.
• Drive month-end close process and raise follow-up questions to Controller or client.
• Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements.
• Work closely with Controller to manage client relationships; client-facing role.
• Prepare draft investor correspondence in FundPanel including capital contribution notices and distributions.
• Maintain investor and investment information and other fund metrics in FundPanel.
• Maintain legal documents including formation and investment documents in Box.
• Prepare and obtain documents for annual audit and tax process.
