Job summary

Prime Electric, based in Bellevue, WA, is seeking an Accounting Manager to support the Controller in building a scalable, accurate accounting function. This hands-on role focuses on controls, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.

You will standardize reconciliations, train staff, and coordinate with CFO and upper management while leading month-end close improvements and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in accounting is required.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Experience leading an accounting team is required.
• Construction accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares financial statements and forecasts.
• Manages accounting, auditing and budgeting activities.
• Assists with audits and external reviews.
• Maintains standardized reconciliations and reports.
• Provides guidance and training to accounting staff.
• Collaborates with Controller, CFO and executives.
• Improves month-end close processes and internal controls.
