Job summary

Prime Electric is seeking an Accounting Manager to support the Controller in building a scalable and well-controlled accounting function. You will own process improvements, internal controls, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure timely results.

You will lead a hands-on team, identify gaps, document procedures, implement controls, and drive improvements across the accounting group, partnering with operations to enhance data quality and timeliness.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in accounting.
• Three to six years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Accounting management experience.
• Construction accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software; Viewpoint Vista ERP preferred.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and forecasts.
• Assist with accounting, auditing and budgeting processes.
• Support audits preparation and documentation.
• Establish standard reconciliation requirements and control procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to accounting staff.
• Coordinate reporting for Controller, CFO and upper management.
• Support and improve month-end close processes.
