Job summary

Prime Electric is hiring an Accounting Manager to partner with the Controller, build scalable processes, and strengthen internal controls. You will own reconciliations, reporting, and KPI development to support timely financial results.

The role requires hands-on leadership, process redesign, and collaboration with CFO and operations to improve information flow into Accounting. A CPA/CMA and construction accounting background are highly valued.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in accounting.
• Three to six years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Construction accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software; Viewpoint Vista ERP preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze, reconcile, and organize financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepares financial statements to summarize and forecast the company’s financial status.
• Assists with management of accounting, auditing and budgeting within the organization.
• Assists with preparations for audits.
• Establish standardized account reconciliation requirements, supporting documentation standards, review procedures, and reconciliation deadlines.
• Provides guidance and training to accounting staff and delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Coordinates with and prepares reports for Controller, CFO and upper management.
• Support and continuously improve the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
