WAHVE is seeking experienced accounting professionals to work from home on assignments for Property & Casualty insurance carriers. You will lead day-to-day financial accounting activities, including premium, claims, reinsurance and GL accounting, ensuring reliable financial records, and perform month-end close with reconciliations and GAAP/STAT reporting.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• 10 most current years of Property & Casualty (P&C) carrier accounting operations experience with GAAP & STAT reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial accounting activities including premium, claims, reinsurance and general ledger accounting.
• Perform month-end close activities with reconciliations and journal entries and financial statement prep per GAAP/STAT requirements.
