Job summary

Stellus Rx LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to own financial reporting, close processes, and accounting controls across entities. You will work closely with the Controller and CFO, guiding technical accounting decisions and ensuring accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606.

You will lead a small team, drive process improvements with AI-enabled automation, and help implement NetSuite for acquired entities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to apply AI and automation to accounting processes.
• Five+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Ability to interpret commercial contracts and translate terms into billing and accounting outcomes.
• Hands-on approach with ability to review others’ work and perform tasks.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional, remote collaboration.
• Healthcare, pharmacy, or PE-backed experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly consolidated and entity-level financial statements.
• Lead the close across entities with outsourced accounting support.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity with reconciliations and true-ups.
• Develop accrual estimates for revenue, rebates, and expenses.
• Prepare monthly reporting package for Controller and CFO.
• Post journal entries and reconciliations as needed.
• Review client contracts for accounting impact under ASC 606.
• Support acquisitions, leases, and other non-routine transactions.
• Manage external audit processes and respond to auditor requests.
• Own AR processes, aging reviews, and collections follow-up.
• Verify completeness of billed/unbilled revenue across client contracts.
• Review vendor invoices for coding and approvals; run payments.
• Monitor cash position and weekly cash requirements.
