Job summary

ŌURA is seeking an Accounting Manager, Fixed Assets & Capital Accounting, for a remote US role. The position leads end-to-end accounting for PP&E, CIP, LHIs, and software capitalization, partnering with IT, Facilities, Engineering, and Product to ensure accurate asset accounting and SOX compliance.

The role requires 6–8+ years in corporate accounting with 4+ years dedicated to fixed assets, CAPEX, lease accounting, and a CPA credential.

Qualifications

6–8+ years in corporate accounting with 4+ years owning fixed assets, CAPEX, and ASC 842 in a public-company setting.
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and CPA required.
Deep US GAAP knowledge including ASC 360, ASC 350-40, ASC 842.
Experience with real estate, facility builds, TI allowances, and software capitalization.

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end accounting for PP&E, LHIs, CIP, and intangible assets.
Own internal-use software capitalization framework with cross-functional teams.
Manage global lease accounting portfolio and ROU asset/liability reconciliations.
Ensure accurate financial statement presentation of fixed assets, capitalized software, and lease liabilities.
Own SOX controls across Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and Capitalized Software.
Serve as primary liaison with external auditors for workpapers and memos.
