Job summary

Urban Habitats is seeking a proficient accounting professional to manage monthly closings, prepare financial statements, and deliver MIS reports for multiple clients. The role requires hands-on experience with finalisation, GST/TDS, and familiarity with Tally/Zoho Books, supported by strong Excel skills.

The ideal candidate will handle diverse clients across industries, communicating clearly in written and verbal form while working remotely.

Qualifications

• CA or CA Inter/CMA with hands-on finalisation experience.
• Working knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Companies Act.
• Tally and/or Zoho Books.
• Proficiency in Excel lookups, pivots, basic analysis.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle multiple clients across different industries.

Responsibilities

• Monthly book close for assigned clients.
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Prepare and present MIS reports to client management and investors.
• GST returns, TDS computations and filings.
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with statutory/tax auditors.
• Maintain books on Tally, Zoho, or cloud accounting platforms.
