Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Proficiency in standard finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control practices
• Ability to interact with common technology platforms
• Familiarity with automated accounting/financial systems
• Knowledge of auditing practices and financial reporting requirements
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced, multifaceted accounting functions including ledger maintenance, cost and financial analysis, and reconciliation
• Prepares management reports, financial statements, and other accounting duties
• Monitors revenue/expenses and ensures expenditure control and compliance with funding requirements
• Coordinates preparation of billings, cost reports, and financial statements for funding sources
• Assists with journal vouchers and adjustments with Finance Divisions
• Oversees input/handling of financial data and maintains accounting records
• Maintains chart of accounts and handles budget and bank reconciliations
• Coordinates data processing batches and resolves discrepancies
• Provides internal fiscal systems support and interacts with auditors
