Job summary

HireHawk Inc. seeks a Director of Accounting to lead financial strategy, forecasting, and reporting for a fast-growing cosmetics-focused business. You will manage accounting operations, cash flow, and internal controls while partnering with executives to drive strategic decisions and growth.

The role requires strong leadership, deep experience in ecommerce finance, and the ability to manage multi-state tax compliance and regulatory requirements in a remote capacity.

Qualifications

• Senior accounting leadership experience in a growing company.
• Experience in e-commerce for consumer goods and omni-channel operations.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state sales tax and corporate compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy and planning.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting, reporting, cash flow, and internal controls.
• Lead debt financing analysis and manage lender/investor reporting.
• Ensure tax/regulatory compliance across federal and state levels.
• Provide strategic leadership to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop the accounting/finance team.
