Job summary

512Financial is seeking an Accounting Consultant to support clients remotely across industries. You’ll maintain accurate financials, analyze budgets, and contribute to smart business decisions under guidance from a Senior Consultant.

The role offers exposure to multiple accounting functions, ERP systems, and a high-growth client base. Rolling applications mean we review candidates as needs arise, with opportunities to grow within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience performing account reconciliations.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (QBO, Intacct, Sage, NetSuite) is a plus.
• Accounting software experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Confidence, ambition and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable with accuracy and detail.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure financial integrity.
• Forecast short-term cash needs.
• Enter monthly journal entries.
• Support third-party audits and reviews.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to meet deadlines.
