Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring an Accounting Analyst to join the Incentives, Benefits & Reconciliation Accounting team. You will support employee and retiree benefit accounting, prepare journal entries, and perform reconciliations and variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience is required.
• Equivalent work experience would be 4 years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reporting and analysis.
• Identifying and researching trends and developments.
• Leading special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Collaborating with others identifying process improvements.
