BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is seeking an Actuarial Intern for its BlueBridge Internship Program. This remote role supports research on health insurance product assumptions and experience analyses, including risk adjustment, pricing, and valuation.

You will collaborate with staff actuaries, handle premium accuracy, reserve estimates, and financial statement completeness, with a flexible 20–40 hour weekly schedule during ET business hours.

Competenze

• Active college students with at least two years of college completed.
• Recent graduates and students in a Masters/Doctoral program are eligible.
• Transcript required.
• Active full‑time BCBST employees are not eligible to participate.

Mansioni

• Support research to develop assumptions and conduct experience analyses for health insurance products (risk adjustment, pricing, valuation).
• Collaborate with staff actuaries and analysts to ensure premium accuracy, reserve estimates, and completeness of financial statements.
